My name is Clair Nicholson and I have the privilege of serving as Chi Omega’s Recruitment Director this year. I am so excited that you visited our website and came across our Recruitment page. Our Recruitment team is already hard at work planning to welcome each of you who walks through our doors this fall. We couldn’t be more excited for you to begin this special chapter of your life—these next few years will bring unforgettable memories!

Coming from a town close to Greenville, I remember feeling both nervous and excited about beginning this new chapter of my life. If you had told me, as a freshman going through the Recruitment process, that I would be serving as the Recruitment Director three years later, I wouldn’t have believed you. But here I am, and it’s a true testament to how the amazing women in this chapter have encouraged, supported, and guided me to become the best version of myself. They’ve helped me grow and thrive in a role where I get to serve the chapter I love so much.

I know that Recruitment can bring a lot of emotions (I’ve been there too!), but please remember that our main goal is to get to know you. When I first walked into Chi Omega as a freshman, I immediately felt comfortable being my true self. Every day, I connected more deeply with the sisters I met, and it quickly felt like I had known them forever. Running home to Chi Omega on Bid Day was the culmination of so many emotions, and it was absolutely worth every moment of the Recruitment process. The friendships and bonds I’ve formed here are priceless, and I am incredibly thankful for every lesson and blessing Chi Omega has brought into my life. My hope is that you experience that same feeling of belonging and support as you go through this journey.​ As you go through Recruitment, my wish for you is to find a group of women who will be by your side through all of college’s ups and downs. I hope you walk away with a heart full of peace and excitement, just like I did when I found my home here.​
My greatest goal for our chapter is for each of us to reflect the love and wonderful things Chi Omega has given us: lifelong friendships, a sense of belonging, and a space where we can both give and receive love in its purest form. I’m beyond excited to meet each of you in August, and I know our chapter is too!
MEET OUR NEW MEMBER MOM !
Hi! My name is Avery Kohs, and I am so honored to serve as the New Member mom for Chi Omega! My role is to ensure every new member feels welcomed and empowered within our chapter. I know that joining a sorority can be overwhelming at times, but it is my goal to ease that transition for all our new members. The Rho Zeta chapter of Chi Omega has given me forever friendships and amazing opportunities that I truly could not have gotten anywhere else. Chi Omega is filled with girls who constantly uplift and support each other. This chapter has truly made my college experience what it is today, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I am so excited to welcome our new members and show them how truly special our home is. As someone who never had a sister growing up, this sorority has given me a sisterhood I have always wanted! I know that these girls will always be here for me on my best days and on my worst. It is truly a privilege to be a part of something this incredible, and I am so excited to share that with you!
